Trainer set an example for students

It turns out that 1982 USSR champion Yuri Pudishev still wants to be on the football field.

The current assistant to the chief trainer of Brest's "Dinamo" has not only given advice to his students in the match with BATE in the ensuing round of the championship in Belarus, but has set an example by entering the field at the 90th minute. A. Kaprielyan: “Negotiations held though Saribekyan’s body isn’t yet returned”

 “Negotiations over the return of Manvel Saribekyan’s body are still being held though without any positive advancement,” Armen Kaprielyan, the head of the working group on Armenian hostages and captives committee told Panorama.am.

“Azerbaijani authorities handed Saribekyan’s death certificate to Red Cross international organization’s Baku office. Baku office sent it today to us, which has already been translated. We’re informed that the certificate should be given to Saribekyan’s family today,” Kaprielyan said.

Placido Domingo to stage concert in Yerevan

HAK relies on itself, but…

HAK leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan didn't give any comment after his meeting with the CE Secretary General.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the fulfillment of PACE Resolution 1677 and particularly addressed the issues related to the release of political prisoners, the revelation of the murders of March 1 and the reopening of "A1+" TV.

The sides also touched upon issues related to the Council of Europe's more active role in democracy and human rights protection in Armenia.

4 hours giving autographs

"Juventus" newcomer, Serbian attacker Milosh Krasich spent several hours giving autographs for the team's fans.

Nearly 3,000 fans were at the premiere of the football player's shirt held at the club's store yesterday and asked the football player to sign his name on the shirts as well. Milosh Krasish spent 4 hours distributing shirts to the fans.

During the premiere, it became clear that the "Baloco" pastry company is now the Italian club's general sponsor. Milosh Krasich signed the shirts with the company's logo. "Juventus" fans call Krasich the "Serbian Nedved" in reference to the former Czech football player

"Tatev’s wings" aerial tramway officially launched in Syunik

Google reports 32 per cent jump in net income

Google has reported a 32 per cent jump in net income to USD 2.16 billion for the July-September quarter of the year, as the Internet search titan benefited from display and online advertising.

In the year-ago period the company had a net income of USD 1.63 billion, Google said in a statement.

Google's revenues rose to USD 7.29 billion for the third quarter ended September 30, 2010, from USD 5.94 billion in the same quarter last fiscal, thus registering a gain of 23 per cent.

YEREVAN (RTE)–Armenia claimed its first win in Euro 2012 qualifying Group B with an impressive victory over Slovakia in Yerevan in a major boost to the Republic of Ireland’s qualification hopes.

Bayern footballers left without beer

The head coach of FC Bayern Munich Louis van Gaal has forbidden the team footballers to participate in Oktoberfest - annual beer festival in Munich.

Louis van Gaal took the decision after Bayern's unlucky defeat to Borussia Dortmund on October 3. It was the second recurrent defeat of the team.

After the defeat, Bayern drew back to the 12th place.

The Dutch specialist not only denied the footballers the pleasure of having beer but also made them train during the holiday.
