It turns out that 1982 USSR champion Yuri Pudishev still wants to be on the football field.
The current assistant to the chief trainer of Brest's "Dinamo" has not only given advice to his students in the match with BATE in the ensuing round of the championship in Belarus, but has set an example by entering the field at the 90th minute. According to local presses, the 56-year old player had the ball several times and even initiated a dangerous goal, but his student's final pass was powerful.
Chief trainer of the "Dinamo" team Yuri Puntus commented on that episode and said it was not an advertisement. "He always participates in the trainings with the players and is in good condition. Pudishev deserves to be included in the Guinness Book of Records."
