The RA Minister of Education and Science has issued a decree on "Sums for compensation in exchange for textbooks given free to socially insecure children by RA state educational institutions". According to the decree, the sums for compensation in exchange of free textbooks for socially insecure children studying at state educational institutions will be calculated based on the number of students at the beginning of the 2010-2011 academic year in accordance with classrooms and in proportion with the sums in exchange of the total number of textbooks per classroom.
The "Textbook Circulating Foundation" has been assigned to calculate the sums for paying each educational institution and present the calculation to the Ministry by October 30, 2010.
In addition, the "Textbook Circulation Foundation" has been assigned to develop and present by November 12 the form for an agreement to be signed by state public schools and the staff of the RA Ministry of Education and Science which will lay down the terms and conditions for selecting socially insecure families at public schools and providing socially insecure children with free textbooks.
