UEFA will continue to support Armenia

"UEFA and Armenia's Football Federation are in ongoing collaboration and we will continue to provide financial assistance to football in Armenia," said President of UEFA Michel Platini during a press conference held after the opening of the new football academy in Yerevan.

"The process launched before I took the presidency and will continue in the next ten years."

Speaking of the newly opened football academy, Michel Platini said that there are similar sport bases in many European countries, but he was amazed that...there are only two swimming pools in Yerevan.

The President of UEFA also answered all journalists' questions, even the question on whether he plans to run for president of FIFA. It turns out that Michel Platini doesn't have any intentions, despite the fact that many foreign presses write about that.

In the end, Michel Platini thanked President of the Football Federation of Armenia Ruben Hayrapetyan and General Secretary Armen Minasyan for building such a football center in Armenia, despite the fact that UEFA has covered 62% of the expenses.
