ARF has already turned the festive rally on Artsakh's Independence Day on September 2 into a tradition.
The rally with the slogan "International recognition of Artskah's self-determination" not only brought supporters from Yerevan and the provinces to "Dinamo" stadium, but our fellow Armenians from Iran, Lebanon and other countries as well.
"It is a pleasure to take part in the celebration, especially since the occasion is Karabakh's independence. I heard about the event on television and was very interested. Although I have been in Karabakh many times, I would like to hear the viewpoints on the issue," Iranian-Armenian Anush Mkrtchyan told "".
"I am truly very proud that our people organize such patriotic events from time to time. I am very proud that we have a small Armenia," added another Iranian-Armenian Paytsar Mkrtchian.
The ARF's goal of organizing a festive rally is to raise important issues, as well as express concerns over the latest developments of the Karabakh conflict settlement and the latest developments of Armenian-Turkish relations.
"We're not just organizing a rally, but a national meeting because after all, no matter how much we talk about our concerns, we still have an occasion to celebrate. It's Artsakh's Independence Day," ARF member Spartak Seyranyan told "A1+".
"The Artsakh issue remains the Armenian nation's primary issue and reinterprets this celebration," said ARF Bureau representative Hrant Margaryan, adding that he would like the event to be nation-wide and to see the participation of all political parties.
According to Hrant Margaryan, Karabakh currently needs the support of all Armenians and Armenia must do everything possible to steer the international community in the right direction.
The event dedicated to Artsakh's independence ended with a concert.
