Armenian weightlifter Smbat Margaryan (56kg) won gold at the European Youth Weightlifting Championships going on in Valencia, Spain.
Margaryan lifted 240kg in snatch, clean and jerk combination.
The Armenian sportsman lifted 105 kg in snatch exercise and 135 kg in jerk winning three medals at a time.
The Armenian team included one female and eight male participants.
