On May 12, in the context of Armenia's foreign political behavior, Heritage faction secretary Larisa Alaverdyan recalled an episode from the Victory parade at Moscow Red Square. According to her, when the Azerbaijani soldiers were marching, it was announced about the great contribution they had in the WW II victory, but when the Armenian soldiers appeared in the square, no such an assessment was given.
"No word. While, it is well known that Armenians, in comparison with their population, had the highest number of soldiers, victims and heroes. The reason is that in the beginning, Aliyev refused participating in the parade, and then later he agreed. I am sure until Armenia considers itself equal to Russia, the latter will keep it in its pocket", says Larisa Alaverdyan noting that the point is not about the Armenian power but also the people.
