The newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Armenia, Michael Postl, presented the copies of his credentials to Armenia's Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, MFA reported.
Congratulating Ambassador Postl on appointment, Minister Nalbandian voiced hope that he would make an important contribution to the reinforcement of the Armenian-Austrian ties.The Armenian Foreign Minister noted that the forthcoming visit of the Austrian Foreign Minister Spindeleger to Armenia in mid-June will give new impetus to the development of the Armenian-Austrian relations.
Ambassador Michael Postl thanked for good wishes and stressed that Austria attaches great importance to the development of multifaceted relations with Armenia.
Minister Nalbandian and Ambassador Postl exchanged views on Armenia-EU relations and the situation in the South Caucasus.
